Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager/Manager in Learning and Development (L&D), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the L&D function related to employee development and training within the organization. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with the Leadership team to identify, design, and implement training initiatives for the entire organization. Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and ensuring alignment with organizational goals will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will work on implementing industry best practices in retail, with a particular emphasis on improving customer service and enhancing sales performance through strategies like upselling and cross-selling. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Leadership team to identify, design, and execute training initiatives for the organization - Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and take necessary actions to ensure alignment with organizational goals - Implement industry best practices in retail to enhance customer service and boost sales performance - Utilize HRMS platforms for the deployment of learning management systems - Train employees on delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive customer-centric environment - Coordinate various training programs, identify participants, and address performance gaps - Design and implement tailored training interventions to enhance overall performance - Align existing training programs with key business metrics to drive meaningful business impact - Spearhead the development of an internal team of trainers for continuous employee development - Engage with external agencies to fulfill specific training requirements - Collect feedback on training initiatives and refine training materials for effectiveness Qualifications Required: - Hold a degree in Hotel Management - Minimum of 10 years of hands-on operational and L&D experience in the Hospitality industry - Multilingual proficiency is a plus - Willingness to travel extensively across South India - Candidates with the regional scope of the role will be given preference,
