About the Role

Learning & Development (L&D) function


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the L&D strategy in line with organizational goals.

  • Lead the L&D team to create impactful training programs across levels and functions.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and performance improvement.
  • Training & Development

  • Plan and coordinate employee induction programs ensuring smooth onboarding and cultural integration.

  • Identify training needs through TNI and design customized programs.
  • Oversee functional, behavioral, and leadership training modules.
  • Conduct regular impact assessments and ROI analysis of training initiatives.
  • Knowledge & Engagement

  • Drive intellectual growth initiatives like the Book Reading Club and Quarterly Book Reviews.

  • Manage external trainers, consultants, and institutes for specialized learning programs.
  • Introduce creative methods to make learning engaging (gamification, case studies, simulations, etc.).
  • Systems & Processes

  • Implement LMS (Learning Management Systems) and digital learning tools.

  • Create competency frameworks, IDPs and succession plans.
  • Maintain records, dashboards, and MIS for effective tracking and reporting.


Desired Candidate Profile:


  • Education: Regular MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent specialization.
  • Experience: 12 - 15 Years (with at least 3 years in Leadership Role)
  • Strong exposure to induction planning, book-based learning initiatives, and external trainer management.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital tools (AI), LMS platforms, and training evaluation methodologies.
