About the Role
: We are seeking an experienced Finance Professional with strong expertise in IFRS accounting, AR & AP processes, taxation, compliance, and cross-border transactions. The ideal candidate will have significant exposure to global finance operations, ERP systems, and a proven track record of working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. This role is critical in ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and compliance with international standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end financial reporting in line with IFRS standards.
- Manage internal and external audits for India and Global entities.
- Devise and maintain internal controls as per IFC/SOX.
- Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Establish checks and balances at each level and maintain/ update budgets and financial model for the business.
- Oversee day to day accounting processes, practices and operations. Implement and enhance billing and accounting systems, including ERP and BI/ Reporting software.
- Oversee month end closing and reporting of P&L and balance sheet, targeting no later than 3-5 days after month end.
- Handle direct and indirect taxation, including transfer pricing and statutory compliances.
- Drive and monitor cross-border financial transactions ensuring adherence to global tax and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and global finance regulations.
- Manage a team of 2 – 3 resources.
- Manage working capital and treasury, and liaise with banks.
- Provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making for business growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Strong expertise in IFRS accounting and global financial reporting.
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Taxation, Compliance, and Cross-Border Transactions.
- Sound understanding of finance, business and operational issues; wide knowledge of various Finance sub-functions including costing, revenue recognition, accounting, working capital and inventory management, indirect and direct tax, reporting, credit and collection management, funding, banking relationships, treasury management, audit.
- Proven track record of working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or similar).
- Experience in managing finance operations for global organizations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Good To Have
- Exposure to M&A finance integration and transfer pricing.
- Prior experience in multinational corporations or high-growth companies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work in matrix organizations.
