About The Role

The Senior Manager will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making, enhancing financial transparency, and building scalable financial processes that are essential for sustained hyper-growth within the competitive fintech sector. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to actively shape the financial narrative and strategic direction of a pioneering enterprise at the forefront of India's financial technology revolution.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the comprehensive financial planning process, including the meticulous development of annual operating plans, multi-year strategic plans, and dynamic rolling forecasts. Ensure these plans are aligned with strategic objectives and overarching financial goals.
• Manage the rigorous evaluation of budgeting trends and ensure the effective utilization of budgets, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation within the FP&A function
• Act as a trusted financial advisor and proactive business partner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Provide critical financial insights to inform strategic and operational decisions across all business units.
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and recommend effective cost-saving measures, innovative revenue-generating initiatives, and efficiency improvements to enhance overall profitability and operating margins across diverse business lines.
• Oversee the preparation and compelling presentation of comprehensive financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for various internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and the Board of Directors, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and actionable insights.
• Lead the in-depth analysis of financial and operational results, conducting comprehensive variance analysis and identifying the key drivers of performance and deviations.
• Develop and continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and dynamic financial dashboards to effectively track business performance and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Conduct thorough competitor analysis, market trend assessments, and industry benchmarking to provide contextual financial commentary and strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure robust data collection, meticulous data cleaning, and insightful analysis from various internal and external sources, leveraging advanced tools for statistical analysis and data visualization.
• Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

What You Should Have

• A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a reputable institution is a mandatory requirement.
• 8-10 years of progressive and relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Finance roles.
• A demonstrated minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, with a proven track record of effectively managing and developing finance professionals.
• Proven experience within a high-growth startup environment is essential, with a strong preference for candidates possessing prior experience within the Fintech or Crypto/Web3 industry.
• A track record of successfully driving financial performance improvements, implementing cost optimization strategies, and leading strategic financial initiatives.
• Expertise in Excel, financial modelling, and BI tools.
• Proven experience in leading a team and influencing cross-functional partners.
