Brief About The Role/ Team/ Candidate Requirement
The Crew Systems team within the Operations Control Center (OCC) is responsible for managing and optimizing crew planning, tracking, and communication through advanced technology solutions.The Manager/Senior Manager – Crew Systems will lead initiatives to enhance system performance, ensure seamless integration between crew management systems and other operational platforms, and support day-to-day OCC operations through automation and process improvement.The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of airline crew operations, hands-on experience with crew management software, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. This role requires close collaboration with Flight Operations, Crew Scheduling, IT, and vendor partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aviation Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Airlines or Aviation Software companies.
- Proven experience working with Crew Management Systems (e.g., Jeppesen, AIMS, Sabre, or similar).
- Strong understanding of airline operational processes, particularly crew scheduling, tracking, and regulatory compliance (FDTL/FTL).
Skill set
- Expertise in Crew Management software configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Strong data analytics and reporting skills to support decision-making.
- Working knowledge of system interfaces between OCC, rostering, and flight operations tools.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with automation tools, AI-based alerting, or digital transformation initiatives in operations is an added advantage.

Job responsibility
- Lead the management and maintenance of Crew Management Systems used by OCC.
- Ensure system configurations align with regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with IT and vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, and new feature implementations.
- Analyze crew operational data to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support integration of crew systems with flight ops, roster, and communication tools.
- Drive projects to enhance automation, reduce manual interventions, and improve alerting accuracy.
- Liaise with OCC managers and crew planning teams to align system capabilities with business needs.
- Prepare system performance reports and present insights to senior management.
- Train and guide end-users on new functionalities, updates, and best practices.
- Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with audit standards.
