Role Overview: You will be a visionary Senior Product Manager with expertise in the AI data annotation ecosystem, leading product development and go-to-market strategy. Your role involves understanding customer needs, technical execution, team management, and revenue generation in the rapidly growing data annotation market. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the product roadmap for an AI data annotation platform serving enterprise clients. - Lead end-to-end product development from concept to market launch. - Drive platform architecture decisions for multimodal data annotation (text, image, video, audio, 3D point cloud). - Establish pricing strategies across different annotation types and volume tiers. - Design workflow optimization tools to achieve productivity gains through AI assistance. Market Intelligence & Customer Success: - Analyze customer needs across high-value segments such as autonomous vehicles, healthcare, finance, and conversational AI. - Manage relationships with enterprise clients requiring HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards. - Develop go-to-market strategies for specialized domains like 3D point cloud, medical AI, and code annotation. - Lead competitive analysis against platforms like Scale AI, Labelbox, Appen, Outlier, and SuperAnnotate. Team Leadership & Operations: - Build and manage cross-functional teams including annotation specialists, QA engineers, and domain experts. - Establish quality assurance processes ensuring high first batch acceptance rates. - Implement scalable workflows supporting large-scale data processing capacity. - Drive operational excellence across global workforce management. Business Development & Revenue: - Package and sell platform services to enterprise clients with significant deal sizes. - Develop partnership strategies with AI companies, autonomous vehicle manufacturers, and healthcare organizations. - Create pricing models optimizing for volume economics. - Drive revenue growth through strategic platform positioning. Qualification Required: - 5+ years of experience in AI/ML data annotation industry with direct experience at platforms like Scale AI. - 3+ years in product management with P&L responsibility for data annotation or AI training services. - Proven track record managing enterprise clients with substantial annotation budgets. - Deep understanding of annotation types: bounding boxes, semantic segmentation, 3D point cloud, conversational AI, medical imaging.
