Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Java Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot and ad-tech tracking systems to lead the development and optimization of our click/impression trackers, VAST/VPAID tag management, S2S tracking pixels, and real-time event pipelines. This person will play a crucial role in scaling our first-party CDP on top of our RTB infrastructure (AWS ECS, Redis Bloom, etc.).

You’ll collaborate with product, data engineering, and ad-ops teams to build high-throughput, low-latency APIs that handle billions of requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of:

• Click & Impression Tracking APIs (oRTB standard compliant)

• VAST/VPAID tag rendering & tracking

• S2S/Server-Side tracking pixels for websites & apps

• Real-time event ingestion pipelines for ads (Facebook, Google DV360, OpenRTB)

• Build and scale privacy-compliant first-party data platform for identity resolution and analytics.

• Ensure high-performance, low-latency processing of events at scale (millions of QPS).

• Optimize fraud detection mechanisms, bot filtering, deduplication (e.g., Redis Bloom, rate limiting).

• Integrate with programmatic partners (Google DV360, Facebook Ads) for reporting and attribution.

• Collaborate with AI & data teams to surface audience segments, attribution models, and ad insights.

• Maintain test coverage, observability, logging (ELK/Prometheus), and security compliance (GDPR/DPDP).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in Java with Spring Boot / Spring Cloud for backend services.

• Proven experience in Ad-Tech / Mar-Tech or high-scale tracking systems:

• Impression & click tracking

• VAST/VPAID tags

• S2S tracking pixels & attribution

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, oRTB protocols.

• Experience with AWS ECS / Kubernetes, Redis (Bloom filters), Kafka/, PostgreSQL/NoSQL.

• Understanding of real-time bidding (RTB) flows, ad fraud prevention, and pixel-based attribution.

• Solid grasp of scalability, distributed systems, concurrency, and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with Facebook Ads, Google Ads, DV360 API integrations.

• Hands-on with Git, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools (Grafana/Prometheus/ELK).

• Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (GDPR, DPDP, CCPA) is a plus.

• Experience with CDP architecture, identity graphs, or customer data platforms.

• Worked on Kafka Streams / Flink / Spark for streaming data pipelines.

• Knowledge of Open Measurement SDK, IAB Tech Lab standards.

• Exposure to AI/ML-driven attribution or recommendation systems.
