Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and building highly scalable, loosely coupled, event-driven, distributed systems. Your expertise in Java and experience in utilizing Kafka, whether on premise or in the cloud, will be crucial in leading the team towards adopting Agile processes, fostering an engineering mindset, and implementing DevOps best practices. Your role will involve guiding the team across various functions, including software development, testing, and cloud technologies such as AWS. Key Responsibilities: - Guide the team in adopting Agile processes and practices - Foster an engineering mindset within the team - Lead the team in embracing Cloud technologies, specifically AWS - Implement DevOps best practices, tools, and technologies Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in Java8/11/17 Development using technologies like Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture - Proficiency in any Messaging service, preferably Kafka - Experience in delivering products/services in the Cloud, specifically AWS or Azure - Demonstrated accountability for a production service and contribution to its build - Leading change in technical teams - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Knowledgeable in Architecture and Design Patterns - Familiarity with current technology architectures and approaches such as Event-Driven Design, Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing & CQRS It would be a bonus if you: - Have knowledge of BDD/TDD practices and have applied these approaches previously - Are familiar with DevOps best practices, technologies (Docker), and tools (Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform) Location: You will be based in our vibrant office locations in Bangalore, Pune, or Indore.
