Job Description

Role Summary

Senior HR Manager



Key Responsibilities

HR Systems & Operations

  • Establish, implement, and continuously refine HR SOPs covering recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll inputs, and exit processes.
  • Drive the digitalisation of HR operations (e.g., via Glide or Zoho) while ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare and present monthly dashboards and HR metrics to management.

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle: recruitment, induction, confirmation, performance management, promotions, and exits.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, appraisals, disciplinary actions, and exit records.
  • Address employee grievances and oversee disciplinary processes in line with company policy.

Policy & Compliance

  • Draft, implement, and periodically update HR policies including leave, attendance, performance management, grievance redressal, and code of conduct.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishments, POSH, etc.).
  • Coordinate audits and maintain statutory registers and compliance documentation.

Strategic HR & Culture

  • Partner with management on organisational development, manpower planning, JD creation, KPI structures, and succession planning.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and internal communication/branding programs.
  • Drive cultural alignment through values-based initiatives and team-building activities.

Liaison & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with department heads for workforce planning, performance reviews, and skill gap assessments.
  • Liaise with labour consultants, insurance providers, and other external HR partners.



Profile Requirements -

  • Education:

    Postgraduate in HR / Personnel Management / MBA (preferred).
  • Experience:

    8–12 years in HR, with strong exposure to policy design, compliance, and senior leadership collaboration.
  • Technical Skills:

    Proficient with HRIS platforms, MS Excel, documentation tools, and experienced in HR process digitisation.
  • Personality:

    Dependable, approachable yet firm; strong interpersonal skills; capable of leading independently while managing junior staff.
  • Languages:

    Proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi.
