Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Executive to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, driving HR initiatives that support our business goals and foster a positive, high-performance culture. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building and nurturing talent.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for mid-to-senior level positions.
  • Develop job descriptions, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the selection process.
  • Coordinate and lead a seamless onboarding program for new hires to ensure rapid integration and engagement.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues in a fair and confidential manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and recognition programs.

3. Performance Management:

  • Administer the performance review cycle, guiding managers on goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing performance improvement plans (PIPs).

4. HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Process HR transactions related to hires, promotions, transfers, and exits.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all local labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, LWF, etc.).
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports (attrition, headcount, recruitment stats) for management review.

5. Learning & Development:

  • Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
  • Coordinate and sometimes facilitate training sessions on compliance, soft skills, and professional development.

6. Compensation & Benefits Support:

  • Assist the HR Manager in compensation benchmarking, salary structuring, and bonus calculations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and respond to related inquiries.

7. Policy & Process Improvement:

  • Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve HR processes for greater efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-2.5 years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist/HR Executive, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and Indian labor legislation.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Zoho People, greytHR, Keka).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills for reporting).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of professionalism, ethics, and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and a team player.
