Job Purpose

To manage and execute end-to-end HR operations for a garment manufacturing industry, ensuring timely payroll processing, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, LWF), effective workforce management, and adherence to all applicable factory HR policies and labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & HR Operations

• Handle end-to-end

  payroll processing

  for factory and staff employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Manage

  attendance, overtime, leave, incentives, deductions

  , and final payroll reconciliation.
• Ensure payroll compliance with

  minimum wages, overtime rules, and statutory deductions

  as per current labour laws.

Statutory Compliance & Returns

• Handle

  PF, ESI, and LWF registrations, monthly/quarterly/annual returns

  , challans, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with

  Factories Act, Shops & Establishment Act, Contract Labour Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act

  , and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with consultants and government authorities during inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation as per latest legal requirements.

HRMS & Systems

• Proficient in using

  Megasoft

  and other

  HRMS tools

  for payroll, attendance, employee data, and compliance tracking.
• Strong working knowledge of

  MS Excel and Google Sheets

  for payroll reports, MIS, compliance trackers, and workforce analysis.
• Generate monthly HR MIS reports for management.

Time & Workforce Management

• Monitor and manage

  time office operations

  , attendance systems, shift schedules, and manpower planning.
• Track absenteeism, attrition, and productivity-related HR metrics.
• Support department heads in effective workforce utilization and planning.

HR Policies & Employee Relations

• Ensure implementation and adherence to

  factory HR policies

  , SOPs, and disciplinary procedures.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, warnings, and terminations in compliance with labour laws.
• Support onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities.
• Act as a bridge between management and workers to maintain healthy industrial relations.

Audit & Documentation

• Maintain employee files, compliance records, and audit-ready documentation.
• Support internal and external audits related to HR, payroll, and statutory compliance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Human Resources, Commerce, Management

  , or a related field.

• 3–4 years of HR experience

  , preferably in the

  garment or manufacturing industry

  .
• Strong hands-on experience in

  payroll processing

  and

  factory HR compliance

  .
• Proficiency in

  Megasoft, HRMS tools, MS Excel, and Google Sheets

  .
• Sound knowledge of

  PF, ESI, LWF returns

  and current labour law updates.
• Good understanding of

  factory HR policies and statutory requirements

  .
• Excellent

  time management, coordination, and follow-up skills

  .
• Strong communication skills in

  English and Hindi

  .
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
