Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Internal Analytics Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive internal data and analytics strategy to support business objectives and drive a data-driven culture.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data analysts and developers.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our internal data warehouse, data lake, and data pipelines to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our internal data warehouse and data lake, with a specific focus on integrating and modeling data from SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Champion the use of data analytics across all business functions, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Standardize and govern data and analytics processes and best practices.
• Manage the portfolio of internal analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
  

Technical Skills

Required Skills and Experience

• ERP Data Expertise:
• Demonstrable, in-depth experience in extracting, transforming, and modeling data from SAP (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) or Oracle (e.g., E-Business Suite, Fusion Cloud) ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of core ERP modules and their underlying data structures (e.g., Finance (FI/CO), Project Systems (PS), Sales & Distribution (SD), Human Capital Management (HCM)).
• Data Visualization & BI:
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for creating compelling dashboards and reports.
• Experience with other visualization tools such as QlikView or Tableau is a strong plus.
• Data Transformation & Integration:
• Hands-on experience with data preparation and blending tools, particularly Alteryx.
• Strong expertise in ETL/ELT processes and building robust data pipelines.
• Data Warehousing (DWH) & Data Lakes:
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing modern data warehouses and data lakes.
• Microsoft Data Stack (Latest Technologies):
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the latest Microsoft data and analytics stack, including:
• Azure Data Factory for data integration.
• Azure Synapse Analytics for unified analytics.
• Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Microsoft Fabric (familiarity is highly desirable).
• SQL Server and other relational databases.
• Data Modeling & Architecture:
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience in designing scalable and efficient data architectures.
  

Professional & Domain Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in a data and analytics leadership role.
• A deep understanding of the core operations and key performance indicators (KPIs) of a professional services business (e.g., utilization rates, billing cycles, project margins, client profitability).
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering data and analytics projects for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data insights to tangible business outcomes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with C-level executives and technical teams.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
