Senior Accountant

JOB BRIEF

Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 4+ years of experience in managing company accounts, financial reporting, and client coordination. The candidate should have strong expertise in Tally ERP and proven experience in preparing and analysing the Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports within the given timeline.
• Analyse P&L performance to highlight trends, variances, and business insights.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements.
• Manage vendor payments, invoicing, and client account reconciliations.
• Conduct and review bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
• Generate and present MIS reports for management review.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support in internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
• Work closely with operations and management to improve cost control and profitability.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations done in Tally ERP (ERP 9 / Tally Prime) by the Jr. Accountant.
• Verify general ledger, accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations .

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience with hands-on expertise in Tally ERP (ERP 9 / Tally Prime).
• Proven experience in preparing and analysing P&L statements and financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST and TDS compliance.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup, financial modelling preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
