Job Description

Role Overview

You’re the captain of the floor during your shift. You ensure service runs like clockwork — guests are delighted, the team is sharp, and ops are seamless from open to close. You’re hands-on, always present on the floor, and obsessed with creating the perfect guest experience while hitting service KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Service Leadership

  • Lead and manage the service team (vibe managers, experience managers, servers, runners, busboys) during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure flawless guest experience: greet, engage, resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain service speed, table turn efficiency, and upselling targets.

Operational Excellence

  • Execute opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists with precision.
  • Oversee section allocations, floor readiness, and live table management.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings — set tone, share specials, reinforce service standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness, ambience, music, lighting, and overall vibe throughout the shift.

People & Training

  • Coach team on service techniques, menu knowledge, and upselling.
  • Manage shift handovers with clear To Do / In Process / Done updates.
  • Give real-time feedback to team members to correct performance gaps instantly.

Financial & Stock Control

  • Ensure cash till accuracy and report variances immediately.
  • Track and manage daily beverage & consumable stock during shift.
  • Support management with daily sales reports and KPIs.

Compliance & Safety

  • Enforce brand SOPs, grooming standards, hygiene, and food safety norms.
  • Handle guest complaints as per brand escalation protocols.
  • Ensure municipal, fire, and FSSAI norms are adhered to during operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–6 years of F&B service experience (upscale casual/fine dining preferred).
  • Proven track record managing teams in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and floor leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining guest focus.
  • Tech-comfortable with POS systems, reservations tools, and reporting.

Performance KPIs

  • Guest satisfaction score & repeat visit rate.
  • Shift revenue & upselling achievement.
  • Staff performance and training progress.
  • Compliance with SOPs & zero variance in cash/stock reports.

  • Growth track to Assistant Manager / Outlet Manager within 18–24 months.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
