Role: Security Architect

Work Location: Bangalore | Pune | Gurgaon | Hyderabad

Role Brief:

As a Security Architect, you are will collaborate with different functions to design and develop Security compliant, robust products . You will work with Security test teams to conduct penetration tests, analyse risks, and work towards a plan to address the risks

Desired skill and expertise

• Work independently with developers, system/network administrators, product owners, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of applications and networks
• Perform security design reviews of applications, systems, and networks
• Perform code reviews of large applications, manually and using static analysis tools
• Provide remediation guidance and recommendations to developers and administrators
• Define security best practices and standards
• Communicate current and emerging security threats
• Author review and approve security design documents
• Review and consult on architectural roadmaps across programs; collaborate with program leadership and architects to ensure the creation of secure technical plans that can be executed by programs and teams
• Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements
• Conducting regular system tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security
• Promptly responding to all security incidents and providing thorough post-event analyses

Required Qualifications:

• 12-15 years of experience in Security Architecture.
• Experience working with development teams to build secure solutions
• Experience breaking down complex systems and applications to find flaws
• Strong working knowledge of security frameworks and technologies
• Proficient in software writing/auditing/review in technologies like Java, Golang etc
• Strong working knowledge of cloud security models technologies risks and mitigations
• Familiarity with common vulnerabilities and attack vectors
• Knowledge of encryption technologies (PGP, SSH, SSL, etc.) and common authentication protocols (OpenID Connect, OAUTH, SAML, RADIUS, LDAP, KERBEROS, etc.)
• Solid understanding of secure network and system design
• The ability to communicate complicated technical issues and the risks they pose to developers, , system administrators, and management
• Ability to coach mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely manner
• Excellent ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
• Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability
• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation and security
• Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions
• Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures
