Job Description

Role : Senior Migration Engineer Work Location : Pune Key Responsibilities: Develop transformation logic scripts using Python, PL-SQL, or relevant migration tools. Implement complex business rules, such as product hierarchies, offer mappings, and lifecycle stages. Load transformed data into the target BSS through bulk or batch processes. Validate data integrity before and after loading. Support delta and mock loads during dry runs. Design and execute reconciliation reports, comparing pre- and post-load data, source and target counts, and ensuring referential integrity. Identify and address fallouts during dry runs and cutover phases. Collaborate with functional teams to resolve data fallouts and reprocess as required. Prepare cutover execution plans and provide ongoing support during the hyper care phase. Own and manage go/no-go data validation checkpoints. Skills & Qualification: Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. with 11-14 years of experience in the IT/Telecom sector. Hands-on experience in data transformation scripting and batch job design. Strong knowledge of telecom BSS data structures for Catalog, Commerce, OM, CPQ, CRM, Inventory as well as wholesale business. Practical experience in data load performance tuning. Familiarity with file-based, database-based, and API-based data loads. Proficient in SQL and reporting; experience with Excel and visualization tools (Power BI preferred). Experience with telecom BSS cutovers, rollback strategies, and fallout correction. Familiarity with tools such as Control-M, Jenkins, or other job schedulers. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
