Cancard Inc and Advaa Health are seeking an experienced, engaged, and hands-on SEO – Search Engine Optimization Specialist. This role will be pivotal in developing and executing SEO strategies to improve the rankings of webpages as well as drive organic traffic to Cancard Inc and group websites.

By integrating our systems, primary care practices can enhance patient engagement, optimize appointment scheduling, automate billing and coding processes, and access comprehensive patient health records in real-time. These advancements not only improve the quality of care provided but also contribute to a significant reduction in overhead costs.


This position offers a unique opportunity for digital marketers and SEO specialists who are passionate about solving critical healthcare challenges to learn and grow within the company. The role provides direct experience and exposure to customers in the US, Canada, and other global markets.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• SEO Strategy Development: Craft and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that includes enhancements in technical SEO, content optimization, and link building. Align SEO strategies with business goals to drive measurable growth in organic search visibility and traffic.


• Technical SEO Audits: Perform detailed technical audits of the entire website to identify and resolve complex SEO issues related to site architecture, crawlability, indexing, mobile optimization, website speed, and security. Ensure the website adheres to SEO best practices and is optimized for search engines and user experience.


• Keyword Research and Implementation: Conduct advanced keyword research to identify high-value opportunities based on search volume, keyword difficulty, and relevance. Implement these insights across website content to maximize search visibility and audience engagement.


• On-Page Optimization: Optimize web pages for search engines and user engagement by enhancing title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and images. Ensure content readability while maintaining a strong keyword presence.


• Content Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with content creators to develop a content calendar that aligns with SEO goals. Provide SEO insights and optimization recommendations for all content creation, including blogs, white papers, and video content.


• Link Building: Develop and implement a link-building strategy focused on acquiring high-quality inbound links from reputable and relevant sites. Monitor backlink profile health and develop strategies to mitigate the impacts of potentially harmful links.


• Analytics and Reporting: Utilize tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics such as traffic, rankings, and engagement. Use this data to refine and pivot strategies, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.


• SEO Trends and Algorithm Updates: Stay up to date with the latest in SEO strategies, digital marketing trends, and Google algorithm updates. Regularly communicate potential impacts and necessary adjustments to the SEO strategy with the digital marketing team.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside web developers and digital marketers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website development and marketing initiatives. Facilitate education and training sessions for staff to enhance the SEO knowledge across the department.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, including both on-page and off-page strategies.

• Advanced proficiency with SEO tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush,Moz, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog.

• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and best practices in SEO.

• Expertise in keyword research and analysis using a variety of tools and techniques to gauge competition and search volume effectively.

• Experience with technical SEO elements, such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related aspects.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices.

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal, and the ability to optimize these platforms for SEO.

• Capability to perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in content or strategies in comparison to industry benchmarks.

• Adept at generating and interpreting reports from SEO tools and analytics; capable of translating data into actionable insights.

• Experience with local SEO tactics including Google My Business optimization.
