Why this role exists


Search has turned into answers. People ask. Engines respond. SEO is now AEO. We help ambitious brands win across Google, YouTube, and AI surfaces like ChatGPT and Claude. You’ll build scalable organic growth systems that compound—rankings and citations—using Zerply.ai to plan, optimize, and measure.

What you will own


  • Account strategy from audit to quarterly roadmap with clear hypotheses.
  • AEO-ready information architecture: topic maps, clusters, internal links, schema.
  • Content systems with our creator network: briefs, outlines, fact sheets, byline ops.
  • Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, performance, canonicals, structured data.
  • AI visibility: prompt tests, snippet quality, entity coverage, citation tracking.
  • Client leadership: weekly reviews that tell a clear story of impact—no vanity metrics.
  • Zerply.ai playbooks and feedback to shape the product.


What good looks like

  • Measurable lift in qualified organic sessions and assisted revenue within a quarter.
  • More featured snippets, PAA wins, and knowledge panel coverage.
  • Documented entity model per account with schema on priority templates.
  • Faster publishing with higher accuracy from repeatable briefs and checklists.
  • Two AEO experiments live per month with captured learnings.
  • Senior stakeholders trust your narrative because it’s precise and honest.


Must have

  • 3–4 years in an agency; client-facing is non-negotiable.
  • Strong on-page and technical SEO: Ahrefs or Semrush, GSC, Screaming Frog, GA4.
  • Content-first mindset: turn topic maps into publishing calendars.
  • Working comfort with structured data: FAQ, HowTo, Product, Organization, Article.
  • Data fluency: clean reporting in Looker Studio or Sheets.
  • Ownership: lead rooms, defend hypotheses, change your mind with data.


Good to have

  • Exposure to LLM workflows: prompt design, retrieval, evaluation.
  • Experience with knowledge graphs or entity research.
  • Comfort with HTML and a CMS.
  • B2B or marketplace background; multi-locale or multi-brand.
