The Role
As a
Scrum Master
you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 6+ years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a servant-leader, enabling the Scrum Team to self-organize and self-manage.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed.
- Guide the team in understanding sprint goals and achieving commitments.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency.
- Identify and proactively remove impediments blocking team progress, escalating when necessary.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Scrum Team and stakeholders to resolve dependencies.
- Anticipate risks and work with the Product Owner and team to mitigate them.
- Track and report on Scrum Team performance metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, defect leakage, etc.).
- Use data-driven insights to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure visibility of progress and risks to stakeholders through effective reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery Excellence
- Build strong working relationships with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams.
- Support backlog management and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Ensure delivery aligns with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
Must have
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.
- 6–9 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong experience in the retail domain with hands-on knowledge of retail applications development.
- Familiarity with POS solutions; Oracle Xstore experience is a strong value add.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
- Strong facilitation and time management skills to ensure effective Scrum events.
- Proven ability to track metrics, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for stakeholder communication.
