Role Description


The Sales Executive will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities through B2B platforms such as IndiaMart. The role requires strong organizational abilities for maintaining records, preparing documentation for tenders, and ensuring smooth communication with clients. Additionally, the Sales Executive will manage and update product price databases to support informed business decisions.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Connecting with existing clients to maintain long-term relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Managing inquiries and closing sales through B2B portals (IndiaMart, TradeIndia, Justdial).
  • Preparing professional business letters, quotations, and documents for tender participation.
  • Maintaining organized records of sales, client interactions, and business documents.
  • Creating and updating Excel sheets to track pricing of various products and competitor data.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely responses and order fulfillment.
  • Providing clear communication and follow-up to clients for smooth execution of sales.



Required Skills and Competencies


  • Sales & Client Relationship Management:

    Ability to engage with clients confidently, build trust, and close sales effectively.
  • B2B Portal Knowledge:

    Familiarity with IndiaMart and other online lead generation platforms.
  • Communication Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication for professional client interaction and tender documentation.
  • Organizational Skills:

    Strong ability to maintain files, track documents, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Documentation & Tender Preparation:

    Knowledge of preparing quotations, letters, and official documents for tender participation.
  • MS Office Proficiency:

    Good command over MS Excel (price tracking, data management) and MS Word (business letters, tender documents).
  • Attention to Detail:

    Accuracy in maintaining records, preparing documents, and handling client requirements.
  • Team Collaboration:

    Ability to coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing.
  • Time Management:

    Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure.
