POSITION FUNCTION:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Operations team. The ideal candidate will support the sales organization by providing critical insights, developing performance metrics, and ensuring that sales processes and systems operate efficiently. This role requires a blend of technical skills, business acumen, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Work Timings:

6 PM to 3 AM IST


Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to generate actionable insights and reports for sales leadership.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track key sales metrics, including pipeline status, win/loss rates, and sales performance.
  • Identify trends, forecast sales, and highlight areas for improvement.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other teams to streamline sales processes and remove bottlenecks.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure data integrity in CRM or sales systems.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for sales processes, including lead management, deal closure, and customer follow-up.

Systems & Tools Management:

  • Manage and optimize sales tools and technologies to enhance team productivity.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on tools and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to sales systems.

Performance Monitoring & Insights:

  • Analyze sales performance against quotas and targets, providing insights to sales leadership on team performance.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual sales reps and the overall sales team.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on strategies and objectives.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support the sales team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales operations, data analysis, or a related field, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data manipulation languages is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
