Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager Industry: Electrical / Control Panel Manufacturing Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai Experience: 5+ years (preferably in control panel or electrical product sales) Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our business in the electrical control panel industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and meeting revenue targets. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and a proactive sales approach. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Identify and target potential customers in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company growth and revenue goals. Generate leads, conduct client meetings, deliver product presentations, and close deals. Build and manage strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end-users. Respond to RFQs and prepare competitive techno-commercial proposals and quotations. Understand project specifications and recommend appropriate products/solutions. Client Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Resolve customer concerns and provide post-sales support in coordination with the technical team. Follow up on payments and commercial terms to ensure timely collections. Market Analysis & Reporting: Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and project status updates to management. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in control panels or electrical systems. Strong understanding of electrical components, control systems, and panel applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and basic technical drawing interpretation. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in a team. Preferred: Experience in project-based sales and tendering. Familiarity with local government and industrial procurement procedures. Exposure to ISO processes and technical documentation.
