. Job Title: Store cum Purchase Manager Industry: Electrical / Control Panel Manufacturing Location: Turbhe Navi Mumbai Experience: 5+ years (preferred in control panel or electrical manufacturing industry) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Store cum Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities and manage inventory and materials for our control panel manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement, optimize inventory levels, and maintain accurate store records while coordinating closely with production and quality teams. Key Responsibilities: Purchase Management: Source and procure electrical components, panels, wiring materials, and other industrial supplies. Identify and negotiate with reliable vendors and suppliers for quality materials at competitive prices. Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials. Maintain vendor database, evaluate vendor performance, and develop strong supplier relationships. Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective purchases without compromising quality. Store & Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment. Maintain accurate stock records using ERP or inventory management software. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records. Manage issuance of materials to production as per Bill of Materials (BOM). Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials to maintain quality and avoid damage/loss. Coordination & Compliance: Coordinate with production, quality control, and design departments to ensure materials align with project specifications. Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and internal standards related to material handling and storage. Prepare and present periodic reports on purchase activities, inventory status, and cost analysis. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in purchase/store roles in electrical/control panel manufacturing. Strong knowledge of electrical components, control panel parts, and sourcing strategies. Proficiency in ERP/inventory management systems and MS Office. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment. Preferred: Experience with ISO documentation and compliance.
