The successful candidate will work closely with delivery and technical teams to align our offerings with client needs and achieve revenue targets.Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
- Engage with prospects via email, LinkedIn, cold calls, and virtual meetings to build a pipeline of potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the US and UK.
- Understand client needs, challenges, and business objectives to offer tailored technology solutions.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pricing quotes in collaboration with the technical and delivery teams.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Mentor and coordinate with junior business development or sales staff where applicable; support hiring and onboarding of sales resources.
- Coordinate with internal teams (tech, delivery, marketing, and leadership) to ensure successful project onboarding and execution.
- Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends.
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to our services.
- Provide feedback to the leadership and product teams to refine offerings and strategies.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
- 2-8 years of experience in business development or sales in the IT/technology services sector; proven experience in a sales manager or senior business development role is a plus.
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing international clients, preferably in the US and UK markets.
- Experience managing or mentoring sales/business development teams and aligning cross-functional teams to close deals.
- Strong understanding of software development, cutting-edge technologies like AI & Blockchain, IT services, or tech consulting business models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and lead generation platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Flexibility to work in overlapping time zones with US/UK clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in selling services like custom software development, web/app development, cloud solutions, or digital transformation.
- Knowledge of B2B sales cycles and enterprise-level sales processes.
- Understanding of regulatory and business nuances in US and UK markets.
