Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable backend systems. Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices. Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements. Optimize application performance and scalability. Ensure the security and data protection of applications. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues. Manage deployment processes and continuous integration pipelines. Document development processes, code standards, and technical specifications. Participate in the design and architecture discussions. Assess and integrate third-party APIs and services. Mentor junior developers and assist in their development. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Contribute to agile development processes and ceremonies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of professional backend development experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. Experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL). Strong understanding of RESTful services and API design. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues. Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with testing frameworks and unit testing.
