Role Overview

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Sales to bridge technical expertise and customer success. You’ll partner with procurement heads and design teams in the auto-components and EV sectors, shaping solutions that keep production lines moving.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Consultation: Understand customer specs (grades, tolerances, surface finish) and recommend optimal aluminium or stainless-steel solutions.


Sales Execution: Manage full sales cycle — prospecting, proposals, demos, negotiations, and closing.


Relationship Building: Serve as the single point of contact for 10–15 key accounts (Tier-1/Tier-2 OEMs), delivering proactive stock updates and market insights.


Solution Design: Collaborate with in-house QA and operations to customize cut-to-size orders (20 kg MOQ to full bundles) and ensure on-spec delivery.


Market Intelligence: Track LME trends, competitor pricing, and emerging alloys; share bi-weekly reports with customers and internal teams.


Performance Metrics: Achieve monthly sales targets, maintain 90%+ on-time delivery, and secure 30%+ repeat business from your portfolio.


What We’re Looking For

Experience: 3+ years as a Mechanical Engineer in B2B sales—preferably in automotive, EV, or metals/industrial materials.


Technical Skills: Strong understanding of aluminium alloys, material grades (5052, 6061, 6082, 7075, etc.), and manufacturing processes (CNC, shearing, bending).


Sales Acumen: Proven track record of closing technical sales cycles (₹5 L+ deals). Excellent proposal writing and negotiation skills.


Communication: Fluent in English and Hindi; confident presenting to CXO-level stakeholders.


Mindset: Solution-oriented, data-driven, and customer-obsessed. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.


Travel: Willingness to travel across India (client visits, trade shows).
