- Identify, approach, and develop new business opportunities across the steel, cement, and engineering industries in Jajpur, Kalinganagar & Angul.
- Achieve sales targets and growth objectives as set by the company.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
- Convert enquiries into orders through consistent follow-up and relationship management.
- Manage the complete sales cycle including quotations, negotiations, order follow-up, and payment collection.
- Work closely with the assigned channel partner / authorized distributor to plan and execute sales activities in the territory.
- Coordinate product availability, dispatches, service schedules, and lead conversions through the distributor network.
- Support the channel partner in building customer relationships, maintaining proper inventory, and executing marketing initiatives.
- Ensure transparent communication between JAWS Wealy and the channel partner for smooth operations.
- Strengthen JAWS Wearlay ’s brand identity in the region by establishing strong customer and contractor networks.
- Participate in plant-level vendor registration drives, trade fairs, and local industry events.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence on competitors, customer needs, and pricing trends to drive strategy.
- Increase product visibility and awareness through structured customer visits and promotional activities.
- Oversee and assist during product installation and commissioning at customer sites.
- Coordinate with the company’s technical support team to handle on-site service or warranty issues.
- Maintain installation records, service logs, and customer satisfaction reports.
- Provide timely solutions to customers to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with plant maintenance, procurement, and technical teams across target industries.
- Conduct periodic review meetings and feedback sessions to strengthen engagement.
- Manage customer concerns with professionalism and ensure quick resolution through internal coordination.
- Promote repeat business and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
- Submit weekly and monthly activity, enquiry, and sales performance reports to the Regional Sales Head.
- Maintain proper documentation of leads, quotations, orders, and customer communications in CRM or approved formats.
- Coordinate internally with logistics, accounts, and technical departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
(Candidates with significant industrial product sales experience will also be considered.)
- 4–8 years of experience in industrial product sales, preferably in lubrication systems, mechanical consumables, or engineering solutions.
- Prior exposure to steel / cement / power plant environments is preferred.
- Experience in channel sales or distributor coordination will be an added advantage.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of managing an independent territory.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
- Must be fluent in Odia language (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Must own a valid driving license and two-wheeler for field visits.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Jajpur, Kalinganagar, and Angul industrial zones.
