Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchase Executive with strong technical knowledge in the panel manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, and services required for panel manufacturing projects, while ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Management & Development
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for electrical components, fabrication materials, and other panel manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply and quality.
• Procurement Operations
• Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials, electrical components, control panels, switchgear, cables, drives, PLCs, and related items.
• Ensure timely procurement in line with project schedules.
• Negotiation & Cost Control
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to achieve best value without compromising on quality.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and track procurement KPIs.
• Technical & Quality Compliance
• Review technical specifications and ensure purchased items meet required standards.
• Work closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure technical accuracy of procured items.
• Inventory & Documentation
• Coordinate with stores to manage stock levels, avoid shortages, and prevent overstocking.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, and delivery status.
• Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of electrical control panel manufacturing, LT systems, PLCs, drives, and switchgear.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Procurement Skills:
• Proven track record in vendor negotiation, sourcing, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement workflows.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving ability.
• Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of procurement experience in the panel manufacturing or electrical engineering industry.
• Strong network of suppliers in the electrical components and panel manufacturing sector.
