Retail Planner

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled MIS & Data Analyst Retail Planner to manage and optimize Inventory & reporting processes, Automate manual workflows, and provide actionable insights through data analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Advance Excel, SAP, automation tools, and a keen eye for data accuracy and trends. This role is essential to driving business performance through efficient data handling and insightful reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute seasonal and weekly allocations, Replenishment & Inter store Transfers based on store profiles, sales trends, and inventory levels
• Generate and maintain weekly/monthly MIS reports on sales, stock availability, sell-thru, and inventory metrics.
• Leverage Advanced Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Dashboards etc.) for reporting and data transformation.
• Automate manual reporting processes using Advance Excel workflow automation tools.
• Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels across categories to support sales and margin targets
• Extract and manipulate data from SAP systems for operational, financial, or inventory-related reports.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, variances, and business opportunities.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports delivered.
• Work closely with buying, planning, IT, SCM and retail teams to support category strategy and seasonal line plans.
• Monitor daily/weekly sell-thru performance & Stock Cover for all categories and Core SKUs

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Formulas, Pivot Tables, Charts, Dashboards)
• Solid experience in SAP (modules like MM, SD, FI, or BI)
• Experience in Data Analysis, Interpretation, automation and workflow optimization
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP, Automating reports using Excel VBA, Power Automate, or similar tools
• Ability to work with large datasets and generate meaningful insights
• Basic understanding of SQL or Python for data manipulation is an advantage
