Retail Planner

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled MIS & Data Analyst to manage and optimize reporting processes,

automate manual workflows, and provide actionable insights through data analysis. The ideal

candidate will have strong expertise in Excel, SAP, automation tools, and a keen eye for data

accuracy and trends. This role is essential to driving business performance through efficient data

handling and insightful reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and data models to support decision-making

across departments.

• Leverage Advanced Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA, etc.) for reporting

and data transformation.

• Automate manual reporting processes using Excel Macros, VBA, or workflow automation tools.

• Extract and manipulate data from SAP systems for operational, financial, or inventory-related

reports.

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, variances, and business opportunities.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports delivered.

• Support cross-functional teams by providing analytical insights and custom reports.

• Document and maintain SOPs for all reporting and automation processes.

• Collaborate with IT/BI teams to transition manual reports to centralized dashboards or BI tools if

needed.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Formulas, Pivot Tables, Charts, Power Query,

Macros/VBA)

• Solid experience in SAP (modules like MM, SD, FI, or BI)

• Experience in process automation and workflow optimization

• Hands-on skills in data analysis and interpretation

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Excellent communication and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in automating reports using Excel VBA, Power Automate, or similar tools

• Exposure to SAP Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP BI/BW

• Ability to work with large datasets and generate meaningful insights

• Basic understanding of SQL or Python for data manipulation is an advantage
