Retail Planner

As a Retail Planning Manager, your role involves developing and executing seasonal and annual plans to achieve sales, margin, and inventory turnover goals. You will monitor and analyze sales performance across regions, stores, and channels (offline and online) while managing Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets to ensure alignment with company targets. Your responsibilities will also include forecasting demand by category, SKU, and location, using historical data, trends, and market insights. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the buying and merchandising teams to recommend buying quantities and allocations. - Optimize stock distribution across stores and channels based on performance and capacity. - Identify risks and opportunities in sales and inventory, and take corrective actions where needed. - Track and report on key retail metrics including sell-through, stock cover, GMROI, etc. - Support product lifecycle management from launch to markdown to maximize ROI. - Assist in assortment planning and in-season re-forecasting. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field. - Proven experience in retail planning, inventory management, or merchandising. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends effectively. - Proficiency in using retail planning software and Microsoft Excel for forecasting and analysis. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
