Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Delivery & Sales Execution

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for rooms, banquets, and ancillary services.
  • Focus on high-value segments: luxury leisure, corporate off-sites, weddings, social celebrations, and travel trade.
  • Implement pricing strategies, upselling tactics, and promotional offers in line with market conditions and brand positioning.
  • Support the GM – Sales in preparing the annual sales plan and ensure its execution at the ground level.

2. Business Development & Client Relationship Management

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities from corporate accounts, travel agents, DMCs, wedding planners, and event organizers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and property walkthroughs to promote facilities and services.
  • Represent the property at local and national hospitality, travel, and wedding industry events.

3. Banquet & Event Sales

  • Drive banquet bookings for weddings, receptions, social gatherings, and corporate events.
  • Work with banquet operations to design and present tailor-made event packages.
  • Ensure banquet sales calendar is optimized for seasonal and off-season demand.
  • Monitor guest feedback post-events and ensure service improvements.

4. Sales Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the day-to-day performance of the sales team.
  • Allocate client portfolios and set clear KPIs for each team member.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and training sessions.
  • Maintain a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and customer-centricity.

5. Coordination with Other Departments

  • Work closely with banquet operations, F&B, front office, and housekeeping to ensure sales commitments are delivered seamlessly.
  • Liaise with marketing for campaign execution, content creation, and brand-building initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations for every confirmed booking.

6. Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain accurate CRM records for all leads, opportunities, and conversions.
  • Generate and present daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports on revenue, lead status, and conversion rates.
  • Track competitor pricing, offerings, and promotional activities; recommend tactical responses.

7. Budget & Cost Control

  • Assist in preparing the sales & marketing budget.
  • Monitor sales expenses, cost of acquisition, and ROI for promotional activities.
  • Negotiate cost-effective deals with vendors, partners, and agencies for client events.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or Marketing; MBA preferred.
  • 8–12 years of progressive sales experience in luxury/boutique hotels or premium banquet operations, with at least 3–4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong track record of delivering revenue growth in both rooms and banquet/event segments.
  • Established network within Jaipur’s corporate, travel trade, and wedding/event markets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, OTA management, and MS Office Suite.
