Your Team's Impact
CallStreet is the leading provider of Raw, Corrected, and Formatted transcripts of Earnings, Conferences, and other various other events’ calls to the investment community. We have coverage for over ~8600 companies for Transcripts, 50K companies for Events.The Events Collection team gathers information through various methods such as phone calls, press releases, emails, and web research, all aimed at obtaining the necessary data to update the CallStreet system. We collect data pertaining to 8 event types (Earnings Release, Earnings Call, Sales Release, Sales Call, Conference Presentation, Analyst Call, Guidance, Special Situation)
As a Research Analyst For CallStreet Events
- You will be responsible for collating, maintaining, and updating relevant fields in the database with accurate information in accordance with the defined work process.
- You will be analyzing these content sets by reviewing official updates from our trusted sources that can be in the form of feeds, corporate action mails, press releases, and other reports; thereby making it available to FactSet clients in real-time and in top quality.
- As part of CallStreet’s efforts to expand the skillsets of our Research Analysts, you will also be cross-trained in the Editor 1 process where you will edit corporate earnings calls and other events for accuracy and compliance with our internal guidelines.
- You will report to the Team Lead and assist in meeting the team’s business goals by meeting your individual targets. You are expected to work onsite three times a week.
What You'll Do
- Collect the required data of global companies and ensure that the database is updated in a timely manner
- Provide accurate and reliable demographic and statistical financial market data to internal database and to internal/external clientele
- Focus on ensuring the integrity of the company's financial market information
- Fulfil the research/analytical/ market study needs, required/ requested by the external clients to procure and retain future and current business
- Support clients on data queries
- Report and maintain records of work done
- Undergo cross-training in the Editor 1 role and after completion of training, perform production tasks
- Exercise ownership and accountability of all assigned tasks
- Adapt to ad hoc business requirements
- Attendance to and participation in meetings and skills enhancement courses
- Ensure smooth day-to-day execution and delivery of your individual goals
- Achieve quality, timeliness, and productivity metrics
- Attend all training requirements for process, methodology, workflows, and systems
- Keep track of all communications on updates and new processes and procedures
- Acquire a good understanding of FactSet content, particularly CallStreet information
- Adhere to systems procedures, document analysis measures and database maintenance protocols
- Comply with knowledge alignment activities by participating in Process Knowledge Test
What We're Looking For
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (three-year degree) in Commerce/Business Management/Finance/Accounting/Economics or English/Communication/Journalism or equivalent
- Computer Literacy – effectively use internal databases and software for collection and processing of content/data
- Researching skills – search for information from company websites, news feeds and stock exchanges. Ensure that the relevant information is captured on time
- Listening and Comprehension skills – listen to and understand audio recordings/calls involving various speaker accents and involving terminologies from many industries, able to make inferences from limited information in the audio and transcript
- Typing skills – above-average typing accuracy and speed to keep up with event recordings and transcribe if necessary

- Must have good communications skills, both written and verbal, needed to interact with external and internal clients
- Numerical skills to ensure understanding of the financial data to be collected and/or processed
- Analytical skills and detail orientation to ensure accuracy of data
- Willing to work in night shifts as business process requires
- Willing to work extended hours and during some local holidays
- Willing to be assigned to other projects and be trained in other processes
- Willing to work both onsite and from home as required
