(depending on education & experience) Noida, India Job description We are looking for a Research Analyst to support procurement research and vendor management activities for our US parent company. The role involves researching products, coordinating with vendors, obtaining quotations, and ensuring smooth communication with stakeholders in India and the US. This is a full-time, in-office role with 2nd shift timings (12/1 PM – 9/10 PM IST) to align with US operations. All work hours are onsite; no remote or hybrid options are available. Primary Responsibilities Conduct research on manufacturing materials, metal casting products, and other procurement requirements. Coordinate with vendors, including sending and following up on 100+ emails daily to obtain quotes and product information. Call vendors in Asia (India, China, Japan, etc.) to follow up on procurement requirements and quotations. Prepare comparative pricing analyses and assist in negotiation support. Maintain vendor database and track quotations, deliveries, and related documentation. Collaborate with the US-based procurement team to support sourcing decisions. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and research notes for management. Provide support in other tasks/projects as needed for smooth procurement operations. Preferred Qualifications and Requirements Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field. Strong communication and email-writing skills (English proficiency required). Ability to handle large-scale vendor communication and follow-ups. Good analytical and research skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic data analysis tools. Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with global teams. Prior experience in procurement/supply chain/vendor management is a plus.
