Job Description

The Regional Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving sales, optimizing operations, and fostering exceptional customer experiences across all Senco Gold Limited retail stores in the region. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, financial oversight, and operational excellence to ensure the region achieves and exceeds business goals.

1. Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance of individual stores and analyze data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Zonal Head to set and achieve revenue goals for the region.

2. Store Operations and Management:

  • Ensure all stores operate efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operational excellence, merchandise display, and compliance.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stock-outs or overstocking.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor store managers and staff to build high-performing teams.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Organize workshops and training programs to enhance staff knowledge, particularly about jewelry products and customer engagement.

4. Customer Experience Management:

  • Champion superior customer service standards across the region, ensuring a premium shopping experience.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and complaints with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to understand and improve customer satisfaction metrics.

5. Marketing and Regional Promotions:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute region-specific promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate in-store events to drive customer engagement and increase footfall.

6. Financial and Budgetary Control:

  • Prepare and manage the regional budget, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.
  • Monitor store-level financial performance, including P&L statements, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to minimize operational costs without compromising quality or customer service.

7. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, including labor laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure security measures are in place for assets and inventory.
  • Address and resolve compliance issues promptly to maintain operational integrity.

8. Reporting and Strategic Planning:

  • Provide detailed and accurate reports on sales, inventory, employee performance, and market trends.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
