Role : Recruitment Specialist

As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening and placing top-quality candidates in client companies. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop strategic hiring plans. This role requires strong networking skills, an ability to evaluate candidates effectively and a commitment to delivering the best hiring solutions.
This is a leadership-track position, meaning we are looking for someone who has the potential to take on a managerial role in the future.
Maintain and continuously update the master roster of freelancers and TAS (skills, availability, rates and past performance).
Categorize resources by skill sets and ensure quick access to suitable profiles when client JDs are received.
Work closely with the HR team to source, onboard new TAS/Freelancers.
Review client job descriptions (JDs) received by Delivery Managers.
Match and allocate suitable freelancers/TAS from the talent pool.
Coordinate with freelancers/TAS to confirm interest, availability, and timelines.
Share shortlisted profiles with the Delivery Manager for client approval if required.
Act as the first point of contact for freelancers/TAS regarding assignment details, clarifications and follow-ups.
Track the status of each assignment and provide timely updates to Delivery Managers.
Escalate challenges (delays, unavailability, or quality issues) promptly.
Support the Delivery Manager in ensuring projects are completed on time and meet client expectations.
Prepare regular reports on resource allocation, utilization, and project progress.
Document agreements, contracts, and compliance requirements in coordination with HR and Business Analyst.
Maintain clear communication logs for accountability.
Provide orientation and basic training to newly onboarded freelancers and TAS regarding company processes, tools and quality standards.
Share clear guidelines, checklists, and expectations for assignments to ensure smooth execution.
Act as a support system for freelancers/TAS by resolving queries, clarifying requirements, and guiding them through challenges.
Work closely with Delivery Managers to identify skill gaps and arrange
knowledge-sharing or refresher sessions for freelancers/TAS.
Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the extended freelancer/TAS Network
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or HR consulting (agency experience preferred).
Strong Sourcing Skills: Ability to use various sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter and networking.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and candidates effectively.
Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate job offers and close deals.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple job openings simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Market Awareness: Understanding of hiring trends, salary expectations and industry best practices.
Technology Proficiency: Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job portals and recruitment software.
Problem-Solving Ability: Quick thinking and problem-solving skills to handle recruitment challenges.
Goal-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving recruitment targets and placement goals.
Leadership Potential: Ambition to take on higher responsibilities and grow into a leadership role
