Recruitment Specialist


The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join a values-led organisation making a genuine difference in people’s lives.


UK-based recruitment

You will work closely with our UK Recruitment Manager and People Team to ensure every candidate receives a professional, engaging, and human recruitment experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles across our UK care homes and central support teams.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and talent databases.
  • Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews to assess suitability and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with UK managers, ensuring an efficient recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of healthcare professionals and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment data in our ATS or internal systems.
  • Work closely with the UK People Team to support offer letters, onboarding coordination, and compliance.
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing campaigns that reflect Kara’s values and mission.
  • Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience at every stage of the process.


What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years’ experience

    in recruitment, ideally within

    healthcare

    ,

    hospitality

    , or

    service-driven sectors

    .
  • Strong sourcing and screening skills using

    LinkedIn Recruiter

    , job boards, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and people-first approach to recruitment.
  • Experience working with UK or international clients (desirable but not essential).
