Recruiter / Human Resource Specialist

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment (End-to-End)

• Manage full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding
• Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, and networks
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand hiring needs (IT & Non-IT roles)
• Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate pipelines
• Handle contract staffing, permanent hiring, and subcontractor onboarding
• Maintain recruitment metrics and hiring reports

Human Resources Operations

• Manage employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, documentation
• Draft and manage employment contracts, NDAs, and HR policies
• Maintain employee records and HR compliance documentation
• Handle payroll coordination, leave management, and attendance tracking
• Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with workplace policies and internal standards
• Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries

Required Skills & Experience

• Good experience in

  Recruitment and/or HR Generalist roles

• Strong experience hiring

  IT professionals

  (developers, analysts, testers, cloud, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn sourcing and job portals
• Good understanding of Australian employment standards (preferred)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-growing organisation
• Strong documentation, coordination, and organisational skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with staffing/consulting companies
• Exposure to government or enterprise hiring
• Ability to scale HR processes for a growing company
