CognitiveBotics Technologies Private Limited is an AI-powered digital therapeutics and eLearning platform designed to support early intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodivergent conditions. By leveraging advanced AI capabilities, we provide personalized, adaptive learning pathways that help children acquire cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills.

Currently in the pre-revenue stage with a validated product and early pilots, CognitiveBotics is now embarking on its commercialization journey in India and select global markets.

Core Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to design effective test cases. 
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). 
• Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications (as applicable). 
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. 
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases. 
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings in an Agile/Scrum environment. 

Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues. 
• Provide timely and detailed test execution status reports to the QA Lead / Project Manager. 
• Support UAT by assisting business users and validating fixes. 

Quality Assurance Practices

• Follow industry best practices for QA, including risk-based testing and defect management. 
• Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and processes. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and methodologies. 

Additional Expectations (with 4 years’ experience)

• Mentor junior testers by sharing knowledge and reviewing test cases. 
• Take ownership of testing for assigned modules or projects with minimal supervision. 
• Provide input for test effort estimation and project planning. 
• Identify opportunities for test optimization and improvements in QA processes. 

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of

  STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)

  and

  SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

  . 
• Proficiency in writing

  test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports

  . 
• Experience with

  defect tracking tools

  (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis). 
• Familiarity with

  Agile/Scrum methodology

  . 
• Good understanding of different types of testing:

  functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke, sanity, exploratory testing

  . 
• Basic knowledge of SQL for backend data validation. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
