Quality Assurance Specialist

1. Develop and Implement QA Processes:

• Design and implement testing processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products.
• Develop and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

1. Testing and Inspection:

• Conduct thorough testing and inspection of products to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform manual and automated testing on software applications.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure they are met.
• Collaborate with other QA team members to share knowledge and improve QA practices.

1. Issue Tracking and Resolution:

• Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing.
• Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

1. Quality Metrics and Reporting:

• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, such as defect rates and test coverage.
• Prepare detailed reports on test results and quality status for management and stakeholders.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance.
• Recommend and implement improvements to QA processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
• Experience with manual and automated testing with products - mobile applications

• Skills:

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with testing tools such as Appium, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JS with Appium.
• Certification in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
