Job Description

Hiring for a Quality Assurance role within a high-performance technology team supporting front-to-back financial applications. The team works across both manual and automation testing, owning the overall quality of systems, improving efficiency through automation, and collaborating across global teams.

What the role involves:

Front-to-back testing, test environment maintenance and interaction with support teams
Understanding the business lifecycle of listed and non-listed products and working with BAs, users, external vendors, brokers, and exchanges
Driving automation by developing and maintaining automation frameworks across data services, position management and risk
Operating in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines and critical deliverables

Position Overview:

Performing manual and automated testing to ensure applications meet quality standards
Collaborating with developers, analysts and stakeholders to design and execute test plans
Building knowledge around capital markets, trade lifecycle and financial products

A typical day:

Designing test artifacts, executing end-to-end testing, defect tracking and reporting
Performing exchange/broker certifications and conformance testing
Maintaining test environments, identifying areas of improvement and enabling automation
Coordinating with global teams throughout the QA lifecycle

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
Strong experience within the BFSI domain is required
Understanding of trading systems and exposure to front office, back office or risk applications
Exposure to FIX protocol will be a strong advantage
Strong communication and collaboration skills across regions
Experience working in Linux environments and proficiency in scripting (bash or python)
