Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the civil procurement operations for large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials and services at competitive prices, while maintaining compliance, cost control, and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement of civil materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, RMC, bricks, tiles, plumbing, and finishing items.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites to avoid delays.
• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize cost.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
• Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analysis, and savings metrics to senior management.
• Implement systems for inventory control, material tracking, and procurement automation.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of civil materials and construction procurement practices
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Analytical thinking and cost control expertise
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 12–20 years of experience in civil procurement within the construction industry
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and budgets
• Experience in contract management and vendor development

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
