Purchase Executive

Position: Purchase Executive Location: Attibele, Bangalore Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time Industry: FMCG / Foods / Beverage Functional Area: Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchase, Materials Openings: 1 Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers. Act as a liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, internal departments, and customers. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment. Negotiate contracts and ensure consistent quality and service from vendors. Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. Design and implement an efficient purchasing strategy. Maintain accurate contract documentation and purchasing records. Track and forecast price trends to support budgeting and cost control. Prepare reports and statistical data using relevant software tools. Ensure vendor operations align with company goals and standards. Plan and manage sourcing, capacity, and supply networks. Handle raw material and packaging material supply planning. Oversee production planning and scheduling across locations. Coordinate procurement, packaging, logistics, and production for effective supply plan execution. Evaluate vendors through site visits and track performance metrics. Monitor vendor performance to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. Implement tools to improve inventory tracking, reporting, and overall supply chain efficiency. Desired Candidate Profile Experience: 1–2 years in purchase, supply chain, or logistics within the FMCG industry. Education: Graduate in any discipline; a diploma or certification in Purchase Management is an advantage. Skills & Knowledge: Solid grasp of Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Procurement, and Vendor Management. Proficiency in using Zoho (Purchase module – Inward/Outward). Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Other Requirements: Must belong to or be willing to relocate near Attibele, Bangalore. Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately or within 1 week.
