Position Title

Purchase Executive

Experience Required

1–2 Years / Onsite -Coimbatore

Salary Range

₹12,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Position Summary

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, products, and services required for company operations. The role ensures timely availability of quality materials at optimal cost while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers
Prepare purchase orders and ensure accuracy of pricing, quantity, and terms
Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
Coordinate with stores, production, accounts, and other departments
Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and documentation
Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking
Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and specifications
Assist in cost control and budget adherence
Handle returns, replacements, and vendor-related issues

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
Basic knowledge of inventory management and vendor coordination
Understanding of purchase processes and documentation

Skills & Competencies

Good negotiation and communication skills
Strong follow-up and coordination abilities
Attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Ability to work under deadlines
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or purchase software
Problem-solving mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
