Job SummaryThe Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process, from supplier identification to contract management, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards and supporting business operations. They play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain efficiency and contributing to organizational profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesSource, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value for goods and servicesManage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance metricsConduct market research and supplier analysis to identify cost-saving opportunitiesMaintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policiesCollaborate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and specificationsBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships while managing contracts and agreementsMonitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock managementAnalyze spending patterns and implement cost reduction initiativesSkills and QualificationsTechnical SkillsProficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reportingKnowledge of supply chain management principles and best practicesUnderstanding of contract law, negotiation techniques, and vendor managementFamiliarity with quality management systems and compliance requirementsCommunication and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent negotiation and relationship-building abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills for supplier interactionsAbility to present procurement strategies and recommendations to managementCross-functional collaboration skills with internal stakeholdersAnalytical and Problem-Solving SkillsStrong analytical thinking for supplier evaluation and cost analysisAbility to identify and resolve supply chain issues and bottlenecksData-driven decision-making capabilities for procurement optimizationCritical thinking skills for risk assessment and mitigationEducational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldProfessional certifications such as CPIM, CPSM, or APICS (preferred)Additional qualifications in procurement, logistics, or operations managementExperience2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain managementExperience with supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationsBackground in relevant industry sectors (manufacturing, retail, healthcare, etc.)*Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000 per monthSchedule : Day shiftSupplemental pay types : Yearly bonusLanguage : English , HindiAbility to Relocate: Mohali, Punjab: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
