Project Manager
Roles & Responsibility
- 15+ Years of experience
- Good communication skills
- Should have experience in Insurance domain
- Accountable for the delivery of projects/programs within a defined business or functional area of the APAC Chubb business
- The Senior/Project Manager is primarily responsibility is to serve the needs of their team(s) and lead them in the right direction
- Communicating a clear sense of direction and purpose for self and team(s)
- Ensure Squad alignment to process efficiency, and continuous improvement processes are being implemented, leveraging metrics/reporting and tooling (Jira) according to the methodology
- Lead and/or facilitate Scrum and/or other Agile practices, facilitating gradual team adoption and independence
- Lead collaborative and planning processes, in addition to prioritizing work against the capacity and capability of your teams
- Support a culture that promotes transparency, inspection, and adaptation
- Coach Squad members, and other individuals in effective Agile practices
- Increase overall Agile maturity
- Nurture adherence to Agile, practices, and principles
- Elevate Squad performance
- Teach, mentor, role-model, and improve Agile across the organization
- Foster self-organization and growth within Squads and Domains
- Facilitate communication and collaboration inside and outside of the Squad and Domains
- Encourage the Squads to drive to results by routinely assessing achievement against OKRs and KPI’s
- Evolve mindsets and behaviors
- Coach Squads and organizations on how to build a trusting and safe environment
Build, and lead by example, a culture that promotes transparency, inspection, and adaptation

Functional Skills
- Insurance Domain Knowledge Mandatory
- Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around her/him
- Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace, and enables conflict resolution
- Effective communicator including listening to understand, and using the appropriate communication channels to achieve business results
- A champion of process improvement
- Experience in leading IT project teams in and across a region for an International organisation
- Highly experienced IT professional, having worked across many areas of the SDLC (analysis, project management, dev, test) (10-15 years)
- Remote working experience, with both IT and business teams
- Understanding of business, software, or operations
- OR
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, Agile Scrum Master, PSM)
- Successfully delivered projects using Scrum Methodology
- Oversee Delivery Execution (2-3 Squads)
- Clarity setup, Jira onboarding, risk mitigation/issue mgt, resource onboarding/transition planning
- Sprint Planning, Refinement Retrospectives and Daily Stand-ups
- Use data to assess and manage Squads adherence to KPI’s
- Align squad sprint execution to the release schedule
Technical skills
- Understanding of Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with specific Scrum Master (or similar) experience preferred
- Knowledge of Agile software development process (e.g. XP, Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
- Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing
Leadership skills including integrity, effective communicator, motivation, responsibility and time management
