The Team:
The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Solutions Engineering Technology professionals, who build, support, and protect the applications that operate our network. The technology landscape includes high-performance, high-volume applications as well as compute-intensive applications, leveraging contemporary microservices, cloud-based architectures.

We're looking for a highly experienced and results-driven
Programme Manager
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale technology projects within the financial services industry. You'll be responsible for leading project teams, managing project lifecycles from initiation to closure, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Programme Leadership & Management: Lead, plan, and execute IT projects, ensuring all project goals and deliverables are met. Manage the entire delivery lifecycle, including scope, budget, schedule, resources, and risk.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with and manage expectations of diverse stakeholders, including senior executives, technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans and escalate critical issues as needed.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability. Oversee vendor relationships and contracts.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide clear, concise, and regular status reports to all stakeholders. Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in project and programme management roles, with a significant portion of that time spent within the financial services sector
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technology, with the requisite knowledge to lead and direct technology meetings and workshops.
- Methodologies: Experience with multiple project management methodologies, particularly Agile and Waterfall. Ability to evidence how different methodologies have been appropriately applied
- Leadership & Communication: Ability to influence without direct authority. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with cloud-based projects (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience working with Google Workspace
- Experience managing Technology Infrastructure projects
