As the Programme Manager for Titan, a Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) system, you will own the programme planning and oversee all activities associated to ensure the programme achieves its goals. This role involves managing an in-house developed application, coordinating across multiple project teams, and ensuring integration with other programmes of work in a large multi-application landscape.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Math, Business Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of IT experience, with a focus on projects in the commodity trading domain
- At least 5 years of proven success in managing large-scale programmes
- Strong understanding of commodity trading processes, including physical and financial trading, risk management, logistics, and back-office workflows
- Demonstrable experience in improving IT processes for efficiency and delivery excellence
- Background in multiple IT disciplines (engineering, architecture, QA, business analysis) is a plus
- Strong proficiency in programme and project management methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with software engineering, architecture, technology strategy, and operations, with experience leading cross-functional, distributed teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level influence
- Proven ability to solve problems independently and take ownership of outcomes
- Skilled in delivering concurrent initiatives against tight deadlines
- High professionalism, urgency, and customer focus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfort presenting in person and virtually

Key Responsibilities
Programme Delivery Leadership
- Ensure the Titan Programme delivers on its strategic objectives by driving efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery
- Act as the central coordinator across all delivery leads per business area, bringing the programme together as a unified whole
- Continually improve delivery models, introducing modern practices, tools, and methodologies to optimise speed, quality, and stakeholder engagement
- Oversee delivery from the Agile Applications Team (responsible for rapid development of peripheral tools) to ensure their work aligns with strategic goals
Planning and Governance
- Maintain and evolve the programme plan, transformation roadmap, and governance frameworks
- Lead programme-level risk management, dependency mapping, and mitigation strategies
- Ensure standards, processes, and compliance requirements are followed while enabling agility
Product Organisation and Roadmap Alignment
- Act as project manager for the product organisation, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, designed, and executed effectively
- Ensure alignment of the Titan roadmap with other key initiatives
Monitoring, Reporting, and Insights
- Implement standardised reporting for all initiatives, providing aggregate-level visibility (e.g., initiatives in flight, delivered, delayed)
- Define and monitor KPIs and OKRs, with a strong focus on time-to-market and delivery quality
- Ensure data discipline is maintained in Jira and other reporting tools to ensure accurate programme insights
Budget and Resource Optimisation
- Own the programme budget, including accruals, cost tracking, variance analysis, and invoice approvals
- Identify opportunities to redeploy or optimise resources for maximum value
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Deliver clear, regular programme updates, dashboards, and milestone reporting to senior executives and stakeholders
- Maintain and track an actionable register of decisions and commitments to drive accountability
- Design and deliver a communication strategy to keep stakeholders engaged and informed
Continuous Improvement and Change Enablement
- Champion initiatives to simplify processes, automate reporting, and reduce delivery friction
- Ensure that programme outputs lead to measurable business benefits and successful transition to business-as-usual
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture supporting both rapid tactical delivery and strategic outcomes
