Program Manager

Position: Programme Manager

Location: Delhi/NCR

Sshrishti, a reputed NGO working in the field of education, Digital Literacy, and skill development, for the last 22 years, requires a Program Manager to supervise programmes at Delhi/NCR

Key Requirements

· Knowledge on project management of the organisation on education, women empowerment, and skill development.

· Must have ability to write project proposals, reports and manage data

· Good knowledge in planning and streamline the systems.

· Keep synergy between Finance and program. Donor reporting and Maintenance of donor related documents (Proposals, budgets and contracts)

· Experience in development sector with strong financial management skills.

· Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to enhance quality and effectiveness of project interventions.

· Engage and strengthen relationship with local level government agencies, civil society organizations and individuals to strengthen organisational presence and work.

· Represent organization in external forums through presentations, networking, publications, and engagement in the development discourse.

· Develop an internal MIS to capture activities planned at different levels.

· Ensure team management, coordination, and reporting.

· Ensure reports are submitted as per agreed timeline, monitoring and tracking requirements are being met and established controls are in place.

· Ensure regular visits to project locations and provide feedback for timely corrective measures.

· Collect, update and analyse information and generate reports for dissemination.

· Collaborate with program teams to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables

· Responsibilities for planning, implementation/organization, facilitation of day to day activities and supervision, monitoring & reporting of the project

· Coordinate the overall activities of the project in the assigned areas; provide leadership ensuring all project activities are completed, and the targets are achieved on time

· Develop and execute sound project management approach that includes building capacity of field teams, timely monitoring, financial oversight.

· Coordinate with Finance for fund requirements, expenses / reimbursements for program related activities

· Regular performance review and evaluations of the field team

· Track the progress of activities, ensure the collecting of program indicators and provide on-time internal status reports and external donor reports.

· Identify and monitor risks, constraints, or escalate issues as may be needed.

· Ensure that all data and information is updated, well organized and easily accessible; and that lessons learnt, and best practice are capitalized.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

· Post-Graduate in Social Work /Social Sciences/ Management/ Sociology or other relevant discipline.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience of development work, preferably in program management.

· High level of commitment and integrity and ability to work independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Quantitative & Qualitative analysis.Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with analytical applications

· Experience of implementing projects with ability to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

· Demonstrated experience in capacity building of staff including training, mentoring and technical leadership,

· Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

· Strong computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications.

· Organised, team player, self-starter and results-oriented individual.

· Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of women and children.

Remuneration: Approx. 50000/- to 55000/- per month
