Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, timely execution of orders, strict adherence to quality standards, and optimal utilization of manpower and resources. This role requires excellent leadership, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in conveyor manufacturing or material handling equipment production.

Roles & Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

• Prepare, implement, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams to align production plans with order requirements.
• Ensure that production targets are met within specified timelines and cost parameters.

Operational Management

• Supervise all stages of the production process, including fabrication, assembly, finishing, and dispatch.
• Allocate manpower, machines, and materials effectively for maximum output.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of machines, tools, and infrastructure.

Quality & Process Improvement

• Enforce strict compliance with quality standards and resolve production-related issues in coordination with the Quality Control team.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and reduce rejections, wastage, and downtime to enhance efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, motivate, and guide the production workforce to achieve high performance and discipline.
• Conduct regular training programs for skill enhancement and knowledge sharing.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety in the workplace.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by implementing best practices in safety management.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of production performance, resource utilization, and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare periodic production reports for review by management.
• Monitor and control raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels.

Budgeting & Cost Management

• Assist in preparing production budgets and ensure adherence to cost control measures.
• Identify areas for cost reduction without compromising quality or delivery commitments.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering (preferred).
• Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing setup.
• At least 2-3 years in a production management or supervisory role.
• Prior experience in conveyor systems, material handling equipment, or heavy fabrication industry will be an added advantage.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and industrial manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Office, and production tracking tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
